Growing up in a small town in Russia, Katerina stood out from her peers at a very young age. Her passion for the arts was evident early in life, initially surfacing when she won first place in the Russian Hip Hop Championship not once but twice, in addition to winning several medals in aerobics competitions.
After moving to Moscow, she enrolled in acting school at the Moscow Cultural Institute, then transferred to a musical academy to study jazz singing. Shortly after, in 2016, Katya truly discovered her voice as a jazz singer and joined Eastern Europe’s biggest girl-band, Serebro. After releasing an album and seven singles with the pop group, Katya struck out on her own as a solo artist.
Since launching her solo career, she has released a critically acclaimed first album titled “22K”, which has been featured in numerous publications, including Vogue and Esquire Russia. Katya’s music is widely recognized as the fresh new take on Russian pop that the industry has been looking for.
In addition to working on her music, Katya enjoys modeling, and has starred in campaigns for numerous brands, including Louis Vuitton and Puma.
